We believe it is of critical importance for us to extend God’s love in tangible ways throughout our community, country, and world.

Living Faith Mission Group offers hands-on mission opportunities throughout the year at various non-profit organizations in the Chicagoland area. Date/time/length of project will vary, but typically the length of most events is a couple hours.

Check our website and monthly newsletter for upcoming events and details.  Carpooling will be available from the church.

Bringing a friend or two is encouraged! Join us for as many opportunities as your schedule permits, however, RSVPs in advance of event are mandatory.

You don't want to miss these fun, meaningful ways to serve Christ!

"What does the Lord require of you but

to do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with your God?"

Micah 6:8

Locally, we conduct an ongoing food drive for the Niles Township Food Pantry along with delivering donated bread from Panera Bread each week.  Many members have served as volunteers at the Presbyterian Home in Evanston.  Stuffed animals, dolls, clothing, hats, scarves, and mittens are collected and donated periodically to persons who need these items.  Hygiene kits have been put together and delivered to the Night Ministry in Chicago, which ministers to homeless teenagers on Chicago’s streets.  We have long been supporters of Erie House in Chicago, and also support a number of other mission agencies in the Chicago area.
Our congregation’s mission efforts touch lives beyond our immediate community as well.  In the past year, almost 500 pairs of shoes have been collected and donated by our congregation for Soles4Souls, an organization that sends these shoes to areas across the globe that have been struck by natural disasters.  For several years we have supported, through Joining Hands, the RELUFA organization in Cameroon, and have helped fund the installation of granaries and the start-up of a bank that lends money to small operator-owned businesses.  For over ten years, we have given to the Heifer Project.  Each month we participate in the CENTS-ABILITY offering of the Presbyterian Church (USA), designed to combat hunger.  We support a variety of other agencies seeking to meet the needs of people worldwide, including Living Waters for the World, and the Medical Benevolence Fund.
